WHY THIS CACAO?

This cacao is grown, harvested, prepared, and shared with care — in relationship with the land and the people who tend it at every step. It is not produced at a large scale, but carried slowly, with presence.

From the soil to our hands, our cups, and our hearts, the process is guided by respect: for the plant itself, for the precious lands of Bali where it grows, and for the traditions that have carried cacao as a living medicine through time.

This offering arises from a place of reciprocity — honoring land, people, Spirit, and plant in equal measure, and giving back where we receive.

This cacao is for those who feel it as more than an ingredient — for those who meet cacao as a companion, a teacher, and a steady ally in daily life.

From the Land,
not the factory

0K1A8392.JPG

This cacao comes from a small, seasonal harvest, grown in west Bali and cared for by a collective of farmers and producers who work cooperatively and with deep respect for the Cacao plant and care for the land.

The relationship with the land — and with the people who tend it — is central to how this cacao is grown and prepared. Over time, a relationship of trust, warmth, and shared intention has grown — one we are committed to deepening with every harvest.

The way this cacao is cultivated and shared is guided by principles of sacred reciprocity: care for the land, fair participation for the people involved, and respect for the spirit of the plant itself.

Preparation is intentionally simple and unhurried, allowing the cacao to retain its natural qualities without industrial intervention.

Small Batches.

No mass processing.

No unnecessary additives.

No rush.

What is shared is ceremonial cacao paste in a sincere and grounded form — aromatic, potent, and alive.

More details about the land, the people, and the harvest itself will be shared as the season approaches.

About

About: Where This Comes From

My name is Juan Manuel, for years, my work has been rooted in the spirit of reconnection with mother earth and its elemental wisdom, holding ceremonial and transformational spaces — with cacao, sacred fire, music, prayer, and community.

Through these spaces and time, cacao has been a steady presence, not only as a ceremonial ally, but as a daily teacher — supporting listening, presence, remembrance, and honest connection.

Over time, a simple question began to take shape:
What would it look like to share cacao in the same way I work with it — slowly, relationally, and with care?

After harvesting the first pod of Cacao from a tree I planted with great care and devotion, this offering is a response to that question.

This offering is held within Sagrado Jaguar — a project and living container I’ve been cultivating for over fifteen years. Sagrado Jaguar emerged through years of working with land, community, and ceremony, beginning with a permaculture farm project in my homelands of Argentina, and expanding into offerings that support well-living and well-being in a grounded, embodied way.

Over the years, I devoted myself to learn from the elders and wisdom of Mayan, Andean and Balinese traditions, bridging worlds and sharing that wisdom through Cacao & Sacred Fire ceremonies for the community, private retreats, events and special occasions, to support participants in their personal journeys and the global family at large. Within this container, cacao is shared not as a commodity, but as part of a wider practice of care — for land, for people, and for the ways we choose to live and relate.

The intention is to offer continuity — from ceremony to daily life, from the land to the cup, from relationship to relationship, supporting us in our ongoing journey of remembering who we are, what are we here for and be it, inspired and held by the beautiful and wise medicine of Cacao.
